More from this brandAll Sig Sauer rifle scopesOverview
A 1-6x24 low power variable optic from Sig Sauer built for close to mid range rifle work, with a second focal plane Hellfire FL-6 illuminated reticle. Suited to AR platform shooters wanting fast target acquisition plus reach to a few hundred yards.
At 1x it functions like a red dot for close range speed, and the illuminated Hellfire FL-6 reticle is built to stay visible in daylight rather than just low light. Because it's second focal plane, the reticle size stays fixed as magnification changes, keeping the dot the same size at 1x and 6x. Buyers should note the scope ships without a mount, several owners found that out only after opening the box.
- 1-6x24mm, 30mm tube, second focal plane
- Illuminated Hellfire FL-6 reticle
- Over 100 MOA total windage and elevation travel
- IPX7 waterproof rating, lens covers included
Who it's for
Fits AR platform shooters who want one optic to cover close range engagement and medium range precision shooting, and who are already sourcing their own mount. Less suited to buyers expecting a complete out of box package with rings included.
Pros and cons
- Daylight bright illuminated reticle at 1x
- Aluminum construction rather than plastic
- Wide field of view on low power
- IPX7 waterproof, shock and fog resistant
- Mount is sold separately, not included
- Second focal plane reticle doesn't scale with zoom
Performance notes
The 24mm objective and second focal plane Hellfire FL-6 reticle are built for a wide field of view, up to 124.8 feet at 100 yards on low power, and a reticle that stays a constant size regardless of zoom. IPX7 waterproofing plus shockproof, fogproof construction target field use in weather, and total windage and elevation travel exceeds 100 MOA with 1/2 MOA click adjustments.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Tango-MSR come with a mount?
No, buyers report the scope ships without mounting rings, so a mount needs to be purchased separately.
Is this scope first or second focal plane?
Second focal plane (SFP/F2), so the reticle stays a fixed size regardless of magnification.
What battery does the illumination use?
A CR2032 battery powers the Hellfire FL-6 illuminated reticle.
