Overview
This is a 5 piece set of balsa wood slide floats from THKFISH, each sized about 1.6 by 4.8 inches and rated 1/6 ounce, finished in a natural wood and red color.
Balsa is naturally buoyant, and this listing specifies bass as the target species. A slip float design like this lets bait run at an adjustable depth along the line rather than sitting fixed at one point.
- 5 piece set
- Balsa wood construction
- 1/6 oz rating
- Sized 1.6 x 4.8 inches
Who it's for
Bass anglers fishing live or soft bait under a slip float at a set depth. Less relevant for surface presentations or other target species.
Pros and cons
- Lightweight balsa registers light bites
- Slip float design adjusts to depth
- 5 floats included in the pack
- Only one weight rating, 1/6 ounce, is included
- Wood construction is less durable than plastic if cracked
Performance notes
The balsa wood body is light at 15 grams so it registers subtle bites, the 1/6 ounce rating pairs with light to medium terminal tackle without dragging under, and the slip design lets the float slide along the line to set depth.
