Overview
VTech built this cube with a book page to turn, a spinner to twist, animals to slide and a shape sorter with colorful shape blocks. Two electronic panels teach colors, numbers, animals and more.
Seven activities across the sides give a baby much to try and develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Plan on new batteries for regular use.
Who it's for
Parents of babies from nine months who want a single toy with sorting, sliding and sound will find that range. Anyone who wants a battery-free toy should look at wooden cubes instead.
Pros and cons
- Seven activities on five sides
- Shape sorter with shape blocks
- Two electronic learning panels
- Builds fine motor skills
- Batteries in box are demo only
- Dimensions not listed
- Needs batteries to use sounds
Performance notes
Turning, twisting and sliding the parts develops fine motor skills, while the shape sorter trains hand-eye coordination. The electronic panels run on batteries, so sound depends on a fresh set.
