Overview
A water filter cartridge made of lead-free, food-grade material treats the water in a matching LG or Kenmore refrigerator, while the air filter in the combo deals with odor. The set is sold as one three-piece combo.
Return terms are spelled out and the materials are described, which gives more to go on than a bare part number. The limit is the contents: the listing never says how many water filters and air filters are in the set.
Who it's for
Owners who match their codes to the title and want a clear return window will use this combo. Others should check the model list first, and buyers needing exact filter counts should ask the seller.
Pros and cons
- Water and air filters together
- Lead-free, food-grade materials
- Return policy is stated
- Chlorine and odor reduction listed
- Pack contents are not itemized
- Third-party, not LG branded
- Certification covers aesthetic impurities only
Performance notes
Water runs through the filter media, which the listing credits with reducing chlorine, taste and odor. The air filter works on odor in the fresh food compartment. Filters wear with use, so the change schedule follows the refrigerator manual.
