Overview
Turning the Smart Boost dial tunes this ANTOP antenna's amplifier to your distance from broadcast towers. A second output feeds another TV, an FM stereo or a streaming tuner, and a built-in filter blocks cellular interference.
Dual outputs and FM reception make one antenna serve a TV and a stereo or a second room. Range claims depend heavily on terrain and tower locations.
Who it's for
Households dropping cable get local network channels and FM on two devices. Viewers in deep fringe areas will need an outdoor antenna.
Pros and cons
- Adjustable signal boost
- Two device outputs
- Built-in FM antenna
- Cellular interference filter
- Range depends on terrain
- Indoor placement limits reach
- Power supply details not listed
Performance notes
Too much amplification overloads a tuner near towers, so the dial balances gain to your distance. The cellular filter removes phone network signals that cause pixelation. Placement high and near a window matters most for reception.
