Overview
FGOTV makes this cylindrical TV antenna for receiving free local broadcast channels indoors or outdoors. It connects to the antenna input of a smart TV and pairs with a signal booster for weaker stations.
Cutting cable for free local news and network shows is what it does, with the option to move it outdoors if a window spot is weak. The listing is thin: no dimensions, cable length or mounting details appear, and the range and channel figures read as upper limits from the seller.
Who it's for
Apartments and suburban homes within reach of local broadcast towers get free network channels with little setup. Viewers in deep fringe areas should not count on the advertised range.
Pros and cons
- Works indoors or outdoors
- Signal booster for weaker stations
- Standard coax impedance matches TV inputs
- No subscription for broadcast channels
- Dimensions and cable length not listed
- Range claim depends heavily on terrain
- Channel count varies by location
Performance notes
Reception depends on distance to the transmitters, line of sight and the building materials between the antenna and the towers, not on the advertised range. The booster raises weak signals but also amplifies noise, so it helps most at the edge of coverage. Placing the antenna high and near a window facing the towers changes results more than any spec.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get more channels from the FGOTV 4K-RS55 after moving it?
Run a new channel scan on the TV each time you move the antenna. Higher spots near a window facing the towers usually bring in more stations.
Will the FGOTV 4K-RS55 really reach 250 miles?
The listing states a 250 mile maximum range, but broadcast reception is limited by terrain and the curve of the earth. Treat it as an upper claim and check your distance to local towers.
Does the FGOTV antenna show 4K channels?
The title says it supports 4K and 1080p. The antenna only passes the signal, so picture resolution depends on what local stations broadcast and on the TV tuner.
