Overview
A 100 percent polyethylene braided fishing line sold across a range of lengths and strengths, with this listing's spec sheet showing a 100 meter (109 yard) black spool rated 15 lb at 0.18mm diameter.
Braided PE line runs a thinner diameter than monofilament of the same strength, which lets anglers spool more line or cast further for a given breaking strength. The product family spans far more lengths and strengths than this single spec row, so confirming the exact variant before ordering matters.
- 100 percent polyethylene braid
- 100m / 109 yards per spool
- 15 lb rated at 0.18mm diameter
- Black color
Who it's for
Anglers who want a low stretch, sensitive line for finesse or open water fishing. Not the choice for anglers needing a specific heavy strength without double checking the listed variant.
Pros and cons
- Thin 0.18mm diameter for its rated strength
- Black color for lower visibility in stained water
- Low stretch braided construction
- Braid can be harder to knot than mono without practice
- The wide range of lengths and strengths across the listing makes it easy to pick the wrong variant
Performance notes
Braided PE has minimal stretch, so bites transmit directly through the line, and at 0.18mm diameter this 15 lb rating can be spooled deeper than an equivalent strength monofilament.
