Overview
A snowy hillside is where this KHW Snow Tiger De Luxe earns its place, as a colorful plastic alternative to the wooden sled. The steering system has an ergonomic wheel and center steering blades, with stainless steel blades inside the body.
The body has no corners or edges and is light, which suits children. A profiled footrest and a handle strip help the rider stay braced. The limitation is that the description lists no brake, and the Comfort Seat child seat is an optional extra.
Who it's for
Younger kids on gentle slopes who enjoy steering a sled. Heavier children, two rider families and steep hills call for a model that lists brakes and higher capacity.
Pros and cons
- Steering wheel for direction control
- Rounded body with no sharp edges
- Non-slip seat area
- Stainless steel runner blades
- No brake mentioned
- One rider only
- Child Comfort Seat sold separately
Performance notes
Inner stainless steel blades give the sled its sliding properties, and the body flexes so it adapts to the shape of the terrain. The steering system uses a wheel and center blades to change direction, with shock absorption to soften bumps. A non-slip seat and a profiled footrest hold the rider in place.
