A rugged family pair of radios with weather alerts, a flashlight and hands-free talk. The range claim is a maximum figure, and real distance will be far shorter in woods or towns.

Overview
Heading into the woods, setting up camp or coordinating a work site, this Cobra pair talks on preset channels with privacy codes. Voice-activated transmit frees your hands, and a vibrating alert flags incoming calls.
Weather alerts, a flashlight with SOS and a splashproof shell make it a useful outdoor kit for families. The headline range assumes open, unobstructed conditions.
Who it's for
Campers, hunters and crews on open ground get easy, preset communication. Teams in dense cities or forests should expect much less range.
Pros and cons
- Weather channels built in
- Vibrating incoming call alert
- LED flashlight with SOS
- Hands-free voice transmit
- Range claim assumes open terrain
- Splashproof, not submersible
Performance notes
Range depends on terrain and obstacles far more than the box figure, since hills and trees block the signal. Privacy codes filter other users on the same channel but do not encrypt your talk.
