Overview
Yeahmart's cast net is a folding saltwater bait net made from mesh, nylon and stainless steel, sized at 2.4 meters. It's built for throwing over baitfish schools to trap live bait rather than for landing larger catch.
Cast nets work by fanning out over a school of baitfish and closing as weighted edges sink, and the stainless steel components here likely form the weighted rim that helps the net sink and close. A folding design points to easier storage and transport compared to a fixed-frame net.
- 2.4 meter cast net
- Mesh, nylon and stainless steel construction
- Folding design
Who it's for
Anglers who catch their own live bait, particularly for saltwater fishing where baitfish schools are common. Not useful for anglers who buy bait rather than netting their own, or for landing larger fish.
Pros and cons
- Folding design for easier storage and transport
- Mesh and nylon build for quick sinking around bait
- Sized for bait trapping, not landing larger fish
- No stated weight or exact radius given
Performance notes
The nylon and mesh body lets the net spread and sink quickly around baitfish, while the folding design and stainless steel elements are meant to make the net easier to store, transport and reset between throws.
