Overview
A cast film made without the stretch stress of calendered vinyl lets Oracal Series Nine Fifty One wrap curves on cars and bikes without shrinking back. The permanent adhesive bonds to glass, metal and plastic.
Cast construction and long outdoor life make it suited to vehicle graphics and signs that see weather. Permanent adhesive means no easy repositioning once pressed.
Who it's for
Vinyl crafters doing vehicle lettering, bumper decals or luggage tags get a pro grade cast film. Those making short lived party decor or wall stickers should use a removable vinyl.
Pros and cons
- Cast film for curved surfaces
- Longest life of the Oracal grades
- Resists water, weather, heat and cold
- Permanent glue, hard to remove
- Thickness not listed
- Description mentions gloss despite matte color
Performance notes
Cast vinyl is poured rather than rolled, so it has little memory and stays put on rivets and curves. Using the squeegee to press out air sets the adhesive evenly across the decal.
