Overview
The Tommy Bahama 5-Position Backpack Beach Chair is a lay-flat folding beach chair on a rust-proof aluminum frame, with a built-in cooler, cup holder, bottle opener and backpack straps for carrying it to the sand.
This chair covers the usual beach-chair checklist: five recline positions including flat for tanning, a mesh side pouch for phone and keys, a towel bar, and an insulated cooler with a cup holder and bottle opener. It ships as a two-piece fabric design carried on backpack straps rather than a single sling, which changes how a towel can be tucked into the frame.
- Five-position recline with a lay-flat setting
- Built-in cooler and bottle opener
- Mesh pouch plus back towel bar
- Backpack-style carry straps
Who it's for
Beachgoers and poolside sitters who want a light, backpack-style chair with cooler storage close at hand. It suits average-size adults lounging and reclining more than anyone expecting a heavy-duty rated frame.
Pros and cons
- Five recline positions including a flat lay setting
- Insulated cooler holds 6 to 8 cans plus a bottle opener
- Mesh side pouch and towel bar for extra storage
- Light enough to carry in backpack straps
