Overview
The Kijaro Hallet Peak Gray chair is a folding camp chair made from 100% ripstop polyester with a dual-lock hinge that holds the frame open for stability, rated to support up to 300 pounds.
The dual-lock feature is the chair's main distinguishing point: locking the frame open adds stability on uneven ground, and releasing both locks lets it fold flat for transport without fighting the hinge. Between the two cup holders and a zip-and-mesh organizer pocket, it is built around sitting at a tailgate or campsite for a while rather than just a quick perch.
- Dual-lock hinge locks the frame open for stability
- 300 lb weight capacity
- 100% ripstop polyester with breathable mesh back
- Two cup holders and a zip-and-mesh organizer pocket
Who it's for
Suits campers and tailgaters who want a stable, higher-capacity chair with storage built in, since 300 pounds is a higher rating than many folding camp chairs. It is less suited to backpackers, since pack weight and folded size are not the focus here.
Pros and cons
- Dual-lock hinge adds stability on uneven ground
- 300 lb weight capacity is higher than many camp chairs
- Two cup holders plus a zip organizer pocket
- Breathable mesh seat back
- Locking hinge design adds a step versus simple fold-out chairs
- Folded dimensions and weight are not listed in the specs
Performance notes
The dual-lock hinge locks the frame open for stability and releases for folding, while the ripstop polyester seat with a mesh back panel is built to resist sagging over repeated use. Two cup holders and a zip-and-mesh organizer pocket sit within reach of the seat, and a carry strap and bag handle transport.
