Overview
Not a motorized awning, this is a hand-crank retractable sunshade with adjustable pitch, water-resistant fabric and a rust-free aluminum frame. A roller center support and a box of screws come in the kit.
A crank, a tilting pitch and water-resistant fabric give flexible shade without power. The kit includes the frame, the roller support and the screws. The limitation is that no wind rating, projection figure or wall type guidance is listed.
Who it's for
Owners of a deck or sunny window who want simple shade they can tilt and retract by crank will use it. No wiring is involved. Anyone who needs a motor, or documented wind and projection ratings, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Hand crank, no wiring
- Rust-free aluminum frame
- Screw box and support included
- Two manuals included
- Wind rating not listed
- Projection not stated
- Manual effort to extend
Performance notes
A crank turns the roller to extend or retract the polyester fabric, and the adjustable pitch changes the slope to suit the sun angle. The roller center support carries the span. Coverage depends on the width and the depth, which the dimensions row gives.
