Overview
Pivoting on a sturdy base, the EXO51 is a floor circulator with a tough outer housing and a head that tilts to aim airflow. Glove friendly toggle controls make it usable on a job site or in a workshop.
Go for it when a garage, workshop or job site calls for a rugged fan with controls that work in gloves and a long warranty. The motor carries an ingress rating for dust and moisture, but the fan itself is rated for indoor use only.
Who it's for
Tradespeople and DIY users who work in dusty rooms get an enclosed motor and toggle controls made for gloved hands. Shoppers wanting a quiet unit for sleeping should check the listed noise level first.
Pros and cons
- Dust and water resistant motor
- Glove friendly toggle controls
- Adjustable tilt aims airflow
- Powder coated finish
- Indoor use only
- Corded with fixed cable length
- Oscillation not listed
Performance notes
A short three blade rotor and a brushless motor drive a concentrated column of air, so the fan moves air through a space from floor level instead of cooling it. Tilt sets where the stream goes, and the three speeds scale output against noise. The enclosed motor limits dust and moisture reaching the windings.
