Overview
Not a plain square box fan, this Vornado uses vortex action and a brushless motor in a stand-alone cool gray housing. A touch panel, digital display and timer control the speed.
Fine speed steps and a timer give close control over the airflow, and the removable grille helps cleaning. The listing names only the fan in the box, so remote and adapter details are unclear.
Who it's for
People who like to dial in airflow precisely and clean the grille will use the speed steps and timer. Anyone who wants a remote or a portable battery fan should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- 99 speed levels
- Digital display and timer
- Remote not listed
- DC power adapter not described
- Warranty not listed
Performance notes
Vortex action pushes air in a tight column that travels farther than a plain fan blade pattern. Small speed steps let airflow be tuned to the room and noise preference. The brushless motor runs quietly, and the tilt aims the stream up or down.
