Overview
Weathered rustic oak and a sturdy cabinet give this Hathaway Cheyenne its look. The playfield is birch butcher block, and the gutters are carpeted and capped with EVA.
A smooth poly coating and leveling feet aim at fast, accurate puck glides on an uneven floor. The limits are the material wording, which lists hardwood and veneer, and the lack of assembly detail.
Who it's for
Families and shuffleboard fans outfitting a basement or game room with a heavy table. Small rooms and buyers who want a lighter, movable table should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Poly-coated birch butcher block
- Integrated abacus scorers
- Carpeted gutters reduce noise
- Leg levelers for balance
- Assembly not described
- Material wording mixed
- Short warranty period
Performance notes
The poly coating gives a smooth surface for puck glide, and pro-style climate adjusters help hold a flat playfield through weather changes. Leg levelers handle floors that are not quite flat, and the carpeted gutters absorb noise.
