Overview

A cordless, low noise dog clipper kit with ceramic blades, six guide combs and a USB rechargeable battery, built for small to large dogs, cats and rabbits with mixed coat types.

The X2 kit bundles the clipper with a full set of guide guards, scissors, comb, oil and a charging cable rather than shipping bare, so it reads closer to a full home grooming set than a single trimmer. Ceramic blades run cooler and hold an edge longer than plain steel on many trimmers, though how long that lasts depends on coat thickness and frequency of use. Cutting length spans 3mm to 18mm across the guide combs, covering a short trim up to a longer body cut.

Ceramic blade set
3mm to 18mm cutting length across 6 guards
150 minute USB recharge
Rated waterproof

Who it's for

Owners doing routine at-home trims and touch-ups across double coats, curly coats and matted spots. Not aimed at professional groomers running clippers all day, since this is a single battery consumer unit.

Pros and cons

Pros

Ceramic blades resist heat buildup better than plain steel
Six guide combs cover a 3mm to 18mm cutting range
Cordless with USB charging and a charge indicator light
Waterproof body simplifies cleanup after grooming

Cons

150 minute charge time means no quick top-up mid session
Single battery unit, not built for back to back professional use

Performance notes

Runs on a rechargeable battery with a 150 minute charge time and a charge indicator light, in continuous operation mode rather than short bursts. The low noise, cordless design is meant to reduce the startle response some pets have to clippers, and the body is rated waterproof for easier cleanup after use.
