Overview
An encrypted Wi-Fi link to the free PhotoShare app lets relatives send photos and videos straight to this Brookstone frame from anywhere. The touchscreen rotates images to match the frame's position and dims to suit room light.
End to end encryption and no fees make it easy to share family photos without privacy worries. New photos arrive only while the frame is online, so homes with patchy Wi-Fi rely on SD or USB loading.
Who it's for
Families spread across distances sharing everyday photos with older relatives. Anyone wanting a frame that works fully offline should plan to load cards manually.
Pros and cons
- Encrypted photo sharing
- Free app with no fees
- Email upload option
- Expandable via SD or USB
- Needs Wi-Fi for new photos
- Modest screen resolution
- Warranty not listed
Performance notes
Photo delivery runs through the app and USA based servers, so the frame must stay online to receive new images. Auto dimming adjusts the screen to room light, and auto rotation follows how the frame stands. Image sharpness is limited by the modest panel resolution.
