Overview
The Yes4All SXTV is a cast iron weight plate set sold as four pieces with a listed total weight of 7.5 pounds, aimed at buyers who need small fractional plates to fine tune a barbell load.
Cast iron gives these plates a firmer, noisier feel on a rack than rubber coated options, which suits lifters who prioritize a compact footprint over quiet handling. At a combined 7.5 pounds across four pieces, this reads as a fractional or light add on set rather than a primary plate set for heavy training.
- Cast iron plate construction
- Four pieces, listed total weight 7.5 pounds
- Black finish
- Suited to fractional load adjustments
Who it's for
Lifters who already own a main plate set and want small increments to close the gap between larger jumps. Not a fit for someone shopping for their first, only set of plates.
Pros and cons
- Cast iron construction holds up over time
- Useful for fine tuning small load increments
- Total weight is light for standalone training
- No rubber coating, so it is noisier on a rack
Performance notes
Cast iron plates hold their shape and edges over years of use, though they lack the cushioning of rubber coated plates and will clang against a rack or other iron. The four piece, 7.5 pound total makes more sense as fractional loading than as a main training set.
