Overview
Not a cable or electric winch, this is a hand-cranked strap winch with a long blue strap and a switch between two speeds.
Two speeds trade crank effort for line speed, and a long strap reaches far down a trailer. Gear ratios, strap width, hook type and mounting details are not listed, so only capacity and strap length are certain.
Who it's for
Boat trailer owners with moderately heavy loads get a manual winch with a speed choice. People who need electric winching or full gear and hardware specifications should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Two speed options
- Long blue strap
- High capacity rating
- Gear ratios not listed
- Strap width not stated
- Manual effort needed
Performance notes
A lower speed gives more pulling force per crank turn, and a higher speed takes up strap faster when the load is light. Strap length sets how far the boat can be drawn, and the rated capacity limits the load. Gear details are not given.
