Overview
Adesso fits this clip-on webcam with a full HD sensor and a built-in wide angle microphone, so a laptop or desktop is ready for meetings without a headset. It is plug and play over USB and listed as Zoom certified.
Full HD video and a built-in mic cover the basics of remote work in one small clip-on unit. Focus is fixed by hand, so leaning in or holding items up to the lens blurs them.
Who it's for
Home office workers and students on daily Zoom, Teams or Meet calls get sharper video than a typical built-in laptop camera. People who demo products on camera need autofocus.
Pros and cons
- Full HD video
- Plug and play over USB
- Listed as Zoom certified
- Works with Mac and Windows
- Manual focus only
- Digital zoom only
- Older operating systems listed
- No privacy cover listed
Performance notes
Detail depends on the manual focus being set for your usual distance from the screen. The wide angle lens fits a person and some background in frame. Low light raises noise on a small sensor, so a lamp in front of you sharpens the image.
