Overview
The Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16x44 is a hunting riflescope with an illuminated Plex reticle, capped elevation turret and adjustable parallax, aimed at riflemen who want strong low-light glass in a set-it-and-leave-it turret design.
The 4x zoom range and 90% light transmission target hunters who want strong glass across dawn and dusk hours rather than extreme reach. The capped elevation turret keeps the dial from being bumped in the field, trading quick-adjust convenience for a scope you dial once and leave alone. LotuTec coating is aimed at keeping the lens clear in rain rather than adding any tactical feature.
- 4-16x44 zoom range with 90% light transmission
- Zeiss T* coating tuned per lens for contrast
- LotuTec coating sheds rain for a clear view
- Illuminated reticle #60 with capped elevation turret, .25 MOA clicks
Who it's for
Suits hunters who want a fixed hunting setup with strong low-light performance and are comfortable dialing elevation once per season. Less suited to shooters who need to make frequent field adjustments to an exposed turret.
Pros and cons
- 90% light transmission aids low-light hunting
- Illuminated reticle usable day or night

Performance notes
The 4-16x44 optical system uses Zeiss T* coating tuned to each lens for contrast, paired with LotuTec coating that sheds rain and moisture from the outer lens surfaces. Light transmission is rated at 90%, aimed at keeping the sight picture usable into dawn and dusk. The illuminated reticle #60 sits on a bright enough setting for daylight use while still offering a fine adjustment range for night hunting.
