Overview
Pairing by Bluetooth, a cordless radio link or a USB cable, this pocket-size scanner reads two dimensional and linear codes for phones, tablets and laptops. A nonstandard battery is listed as included.
Three connection types make it flexible across devices and operating systems. The very small body goes in a pocket. Range and battery life are not stated.
Who it's for
Mobile sellers, couriers and shop staff who work from a phone or tablet will use the pocket size. Laptop users can connect by cable. Anyone needing a counter-mounted scanner or fixed POS reader should check other models.
Pros and cons
- Reads 1D and 2D codes
- Three connection modes
- Tiny pocket-size body
- Range not stated
- Nonstandard battery type
- Narrow angle of view
Performance notes
An image sensor captures the code, so both kinds decode. The chosen link controls how the data reaches the host, with wired mode avoiding pairing. A narrower angle of view means the code needs to be pointed more carefully.
