More from this brandAll Broan-NuTone range hoodsOverview
Broan-NuTone's BWP2304SS is a 30 inch wall-mount pyramidal range hood rated up to 450 CFM, with a 3-speed backlit fan, two LED light modules, and dual dishwasher-safe baffle filters.
It can run ducted through 6 inch round ductwork or non-ducted with a separate recirculation kit, and that second path is where buyer experience gets rockier: the recirculation kit isn't included, was hard to source, and went on backorder for one buyer.
- 30-inch wall-mount pyramidal chimney hood
- Up to 450 CFM, 3-speed backlit controls
- Two integrated LED light modules
- Dual dishwasher-safe baffle grease filters
Who it's for
Kitchens with 6 inch ductwork already in place, or easy to add, line up well with a wall-mount hood like this. Buyers who need the ductless recirculation route should budget extra time and money for that kit.
Pros and cons
- Strong smoke and odor removal on higher fan speed
- Quiet enough on lower speeds for daily use
- Bright integrated LED lighting
- Dual grease filters are dishwasher safe
- Ductless recirculation kit sold separately and hard to source
- Installation is tight on tolerance for vent hole and power placement
- Listed CFM and sone ratings don't match the physical label per one reviewer
Performance notes
One reviewer's own toilet-paper suction test held only about 2 sections, and separately noted the printed spec label on the unit read 400 CFM and 8 sones rather than the 450 CFM and 3 sones listed in the online description.
