Overview
The Zephyr Cyclone AK6536C is a 36 inch under cabinet range hood rated 290 to 600 CFM, with LumiLight LED lighting and a stainless steel finish. Dual fans give it more pull than a single-blower hood of similar width.
Zephyr markets this model with a CFM range rather than a single fixed number, which reflects the multi-speed dual fan setup rather than one fan spinning faster. A reviewer running it over a gas range on the lowest speed found it still moved a meaningful amount of air, which suggests real headroom above minimum setting for anyone who sears often.
- 36 inch under cabinet installation
- 290-600 CFM dual fan output
- LumiLight LED lighting
- Stainless steel construction
Who it's for
Suits a cook using a gas range who wants a hood that clears smoke and searing odor without running on high, since even the low setting reportedly pulls well. Less relevant if you want independently switchable fans, since that control is not offered.
Pros and cons
- Dual fans covering a 290-600 CFM range
- LED lighting described as bright and natural white
- Reviewer found low speed effective while searing
- Stainless steel finish
- Fans cannot be switched independently, per the reviewer
