Overview
Arena's third-generation center-mount training snorkel, built with a uni-directional swivel headband that lets a swimmer rotate to breathe or talk to a coach between drills without removing the unit. The mouthpiece is hypoallergenic silicone paired with a one-way purge valve.
The swivel headband is the feature that sets this apart from a fixed-bracket snorkel: swimmers can turn their head to the side mid-set without dislodging the mount, useful during coached drills. Arena frames the hydrodynamic tube shape as stability during fast fin-swimming and flip turns rather than raw speed. The strap uses a quick-release clip for sizing and is designed to fit over a swim cap.
- Uni-directional swivel headband for mid-set rotation
- Hypoallergenic silicone mouthpiece
- One-way purge valve prevents water inhalation on turns
- Quick-release strap clip for custom sizing
Who it's for
Competitive and club swimmers doing coached lap sets who need to rotate their head between drills without losing the snorkel's position. Not built for open-water use.
Pros and cons
- Swivel headband allows turning without removing the unit
- Hypoallergenic silicone mouthpiece for long sessions
- Quick-release clip for fast strap adjustment
- No mask compatibility, pool lap use only
- Premium brand pricing versus generic center-mount snorkels
Performance notes
The uni-directional swivel sits at the headband mount, letting the swimmer rotate horizontally while the tube stays centered, which is what allows talking to a coach or checking a pace clock mid-lap without pulling the unit off. The hypoallergenic silicone mouthpiece is meant to reduce jaw and lip irritation over long sessions compared to standard rubber. A quick-release clip on the strap adjusts length for a custom fit over a cap.
