Overview
A dining table with birthday candles, a living room full of jar candles or a backyard grill is where these BIC lighters come out. A short wand moves the flame away from your fingers, and each lighter is child-resistant.
A little extra reach without a bulky wand makes lighting candles easier on the hands. Specs list both three items and six count, so confirm the quantity.
Who it's for
Families hosting birthdays and candle lovers get reach and safety in a compact shape. Fireplace and fire pit users will want a longer wand.
Pros and cons
- Wand holds fingers back from the flame
- Quality checked in manufacturing
- Pack count listed two ways
- Short reach for fire pits
Performance notes
Reach depends on the wand length, which is modest here, so it suits candles and grills more than deep jars. Isobutane fuel lights quickly, and lights per lighter end when the fuel runs out.
