Overview
Playing along with songs over Bluetooth and recording over USB both work with this compact Roland kit. Quiet dual-ply mesh heads cover the snare and toms, and a dedicated kick pad gives a realistic pedal feel.
Roland feel in a small footprint is why to buy it, with mesh heads that rebound naturally and stay quiet. The small toms and missing pedal, throne and sticks mean a beginner should budget for extras.
Who it's for
Home players short on space and drummers practicing quietly will appreciate it. Players wanting large pads or a complete starter bundle should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Quiet mesh heads
- Snare head and rim zones
- Choke on crash and ride
- Bluetooth play along
- Kick pedal, throne and sticks not included
- Small single-zone toms
Performance notes
Mesh heads rebound like acoustic drums while keeping stick noise down. The snare's head and rim zones trigger separate sounds. The kick pad is designed to cut the noise and vibration that travel through floors.
