Overview
Recording a first vocal or acoustic guitar track at home is what this Audient bundle is set up for, pairing a two channel USB interface with a condenser mic, closed headphones and recording software. Everything comes from one maker, so the parts are matched.
Buying one box instead of three separate pieces is the case for it, with a long warranty on top. The condenser suits vocals and acoustic instruments in a quiet room. The listing does not mention a mic cable or stand.
Who it's for
New home recordists, singers and podcasters setting up a first desk. Anyone recording a full band needs more inputs.
Pros and cons
- Interface, mic and headphones together
- Software suite included
- Works with Mac, PC and iOS
- Mic cable and stand not listed
- Only two inputs
- Condenser picks up room noise
Performance notes
A condenser mic captures detail but also room echo, so a quiet, soft furnished room gives cleaner results. The interface's two inputs cover a voice and an instrument together. Sample rate is fine for music and voice work.
