Stella & Chewy's Raw Coated Chicken Dry Cat Food 2.5 lb

Overview

Stella & Chewy's Raw Coated Cat Food is a grain-free dry kibble finished with a raw coating, built around cage-free chicken as the headline protein. It comes in a 2.5 lb bag of small kibble sized for cats that pick at bigger pieces.

The raw coating is the differentiator here, a layer of freeze-dried raw pressed onto standard kibble rather than a fully raw diet, aiming to combine kibble convenience with some raw-food appeal. The listing also flags probiotics for digestive support and calls out picky eaters specifically, positioning this as a food for cats that reject plain kibble.

• 2.5 lb bag
• Grain-free small kibble
• Cage-free chicken protein
• Raw-coated with added probiotics

Who it's for

Cat owners feeding a kibble-based diet who want a grain-free option with added raw content and a smaller kibble size, especially for cats known to be selective eaters. Not the choice for owners looking for a fully raw or wet diet.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The small kibble size is meant to suit cats that prefer smaller pieces, while the raw coating adds surface aroma and flavor intended to draw in selective eaters compared to plain kibble. The listed probiotic content targets digestive support alongside the cage-free chicken protein base. As with any coated kibble, the raw layer is a finishing touch on a dry base rather than a raw meal replacement.
