Overview
A cellular modem inside this MiFi hotspot turns an LTE signal into a private Wi-Fi network for laptops and tablets. A color touchscreen guides setup, and the USB-C port can charge a phone or share files from a storage drive.
Long battery life and an easy touchscreen make it practical for travel and remote work on LTE networks. It tops out at LTE speeds and arrives without a SIM card.
Who it's for
Remote workers and road trippers get a dedicated hotspot that frees the phone battery. People wanting the newest cellular speeds should look at a newer model.
Pros and cons
- Long battery life
- Unlocked for GSM carriers
- Charges other devices
- File sharing over Wi-Fi
- LTE only, no 5G
- No SIM card included
Performance notes
The hotspot's LTE category sets its peak download and upload, so real speed depends on the carrier and signal. Dual-band Wi-Fi lets newer devices use the faster band. QuickCharge shortens recharge time between trips.
