Overview
The Skutt KM-1027 LL is a full-size ceramics kiln bundled here with a shelf kit, pairing the kiln itself with the furniture needed to start stacking and firing pieces right away. The LL designation on Skutt kilns typically points to a lid lifter option, which raises the lid out of the way instead of it swinging open by hand.
Buying the kiln and shelf kit together saves a separate furniture purchase, which matters for a model this size since kiln furniture is priced and sized per chamber. This is a large-format Skutt kiln rather than a compact tabletop unit, so it suits a dedicated studio or classroom space rather than a small home corner.
