Overview
Fenix pairs a long throw spotlight with two wide floodlights in a metal housing, powered by a rear battery pack that unclips to charge other devices. Helmet hooks and an extension cable let the pack ride elsewhere.
Huge output and battery capacity suit rescue work and long technical nights. Its weight is noticeable on the head, and the runtime figures in the listing conflict.
Who it's for
Rescue teams, cavers, night hunters and anyone who wears a helmet suit this lamp. Day hikers and campers will find it heavier than needed.
Pros and cons
- Very high output
- Spot and flood beams
- Power pack charges phones
- Tough metal housing
- Runtime figures conflict
- Bulky rear pack
Performance notes
Separate spot and flood emitters let you choose reach or wide coverage. A large rear battery balances weight and powers long runs, but the top output drains it fast. The metal body sheds heat.
