Overview
Not just a headlamp, this Fenix light detaches from its band and works as a right-angle flashlight that clips to a pocket, stands on a surface or sticks to metal. Spot and flood beams cover distance and close work.
Two beams and magnetic mounting make it a flexible work light for mechanics and rescuers. Its weight and output are more than casual hikers need.
Who it's for
Mechanics, cavers and search teams get a rugged light that works on the head or on a surface. Day hikers and runners should choose a lighter model.
Pros and cons
- Very bright spot beam
- Separate flood beam
- Magnetic, clip-on flashlight mode
- USB-C charging with power indicator
- Heavy for a headlamp
- Full output runtime is short
- Battery capacity not listed
Performance notes
Output and runtime trade off directly: the high mode drains the battery fastest, while low mode stretches it for days. Overheat protection steps down output if the head gets too hot.
