Overview
A hook assortment from Afmivs spanning sizes from the title's 1/0 through 6/0 down to smaller sizes listed in the pack details, in high carbon steel with a circle hook style, aimed at bass, bluegill, catfish, and trout.
The size and count information in the listing is inconsistent between the title and the pack description, listing both a 1/0 to 6/0 range and a separate 150 piece set of smaller numbered sizes, so confirm the exact sizes and count before ordering.
- Size range from 1/0 to 6/0 listed
- Circle hook style
- High carbon steel
- Targets bass, bluegill, catfish, and trout
Who it's for
Fits anglers wanting an assorted hook box across several sizes and species rather than a single dedicated size. Less suited to anyone needing a guaranteed exact size and count.
Pros and cons
- Wide range of sizes covers several species
- Carbon steel construction
- Circle hook style reduces gut hooking
- Size and count listed inconsistently between title and pack details
- No single dedicated size for a specific target
Performance notes
Circle hooks like these are shaped to turn and set in the corner of a fish's mouth as it swims off with the bait, which tends to reduce gut hooking compared to a straight shank hook.
