Overview
A 24-bottle acrylic paint set at 2 oz (59 ml) each, aimed at beginners and hobby painters who work on canvas, wood, fabric, rock, leather or glass.
The bottles are the useful detail here: a tight screw cap that Artkey says keeps paint from drying out or leaking before you open it, plus printed color names so you're not guessing which bottle is which. It's a water-based, non-toxic formula, so cleanup is soap and water rather than solvent.
- 24 bottles, 2 oz / 59 ml each
- Non-toxic, water-based formula
- Works on 8+ surface types
- Screw caps resist drying and leaking
Who it's for
Fits beginners building a first paint collection and hobbyists who paint across several surfaces rather than sticking to canvas. Intended for ages 12 and up, so it's not aimed at young children.
Pros and cons
- 24 colors cover most craft projects
- Non-toxic, water-based formula cleans up with soap and water
- Caps seal tightly against drying out
- Works on canvas, wood, fabric, rock, ceramic and glass
- Craft-grade, not a substitute for artist pigment
- 2 oz bottles run low fast on larger pieces
Performance notes
The paint is described as having a butter-like consistency that mixes easily and dries quickly, with coverage on both large fills and fine detail. It's formulated to stay put on the surface long-term without fading.
