Overview
Caliart's 36 color acrylic set pairs 2 oz bottles, including metallic gold and silver, with 12 brushes so painting can start without buying supplies separately. It targets both first time painters and hobbyists working across canvas, rock and wood.
The set leans on breadth over depth: 36 small bottles rather than a few large ones, which suits people wanting variety for rock painting, pumpkin decorating or seasonal crafts rather than one large canvas piece. It meets ASTM D4236 non-toxic standards, which is why the listing positions it as usable by teens alongside adults.
- 36 x 2 oz bottles including metallic gold and silver
- 12 brushes included in the set
- Meets ASTM D4236 non-toxic standard
- Packaged in a storage box
Who it's for
Fits beginners, kids under supervision and hobbyists who want a complete kit with brushes included rather than sourcing paint and brushes separately. Painters working large canvases may go through the small bottles quickly.
Pros and cons
- 36 colors plus metallic gold and silver
- Brushes included, no separate purchase
- Non-toxic, ASTM D4236 compliant
- Works on canvas, rock, wood and fabric
- 2 oz bottles run out faster on large pieces
- Many small bottles rather than bulk sizes
Performance notes
Each color ships in a 2 oz bottle, so the set trades volume per color for range across 36 shades plus metallic gold and silver. The paint is described as water-based and fast drying, letting a second coat go on soon after the first, and it wipes off skin and most surfaces with soap and water before it fully dries.
