Apple iPod Classic Video 5th Generation 30GB

Overview

IPod Classic Video in black stores a music library on built-in memory and plays it back through an aux connection. The listing gives a third party name as manufacturer and offers few details beyond storage, battery life and MP3 support.

Large storage in a dedicated player is the reason to look here, for anyone who wants music away from a phone. The listing is sparse and inconsistent, with a third party named as manufacturer, so treat the condition and source of the unit as open questions.

Who it's for

Collectors of the classic player and listeners who prefer a separate device for their library get a familiar black model with room for many albums. People who want streaming, wireless audio or a clearly documented condition should pass.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Playback time depends on the internal battery, and the listed figure is an average that varies with use. Library size is set by the built-in storage, and sound leaves the player through the aux connection.
