Nightforce ATACR 1-8x24 F1 Riflescope

Overview

The Nightforce ATACR 1-8x24mm is a first focal plane tactical riflescope built around the FC-DMX reticle, with daylight-visible red center illumination that functions like a red dot at 1x magnification. It suits shooters wanting one scope for close-range engagement and 8x magnified target identification.

The FFP reticle scales with magnification, so holdover marks stay accurate whether the scope sits at 1x or 8x, a distinction worth understanding before mounting it on a rifle used for both close and distant work.

• First focal plane FC-DMX reticle with daylight-visible red illumination
• 1-8x zoom on a 34mm tube with .1 MRAD capped turrets
• 30 MRAD internal adjustment range, elevation and windage
• Includes Power Throw Lever, flip-up covers, and cleaning kit

Who it's for

Suited to shooters who want a single first focal plane optic for both close-quarters and mid-range precision work, particularly those already invested in Nightforce's reticle system or warranty support.

Performance notes

At 1x, the FC-DMX reticle's daylight-visible red center dot functions like a reflex sight for fast target acquisition, while dialing up to 8x brings the same first focal plane reticle into play for precise holdover at distance. The 34mm tube houses .1 MRAD capped turrets with 30 MRAD of adjustment in each direction, and a fixed parallax setting at 125 meters simplifies use across that working range. An integrated Power Throw Lever speeds magnification changes under time pressure.
