Overview
The Graco Hadley is a 5-in-1 convertible crib in black with a built-in full-size storage drawer, engineered wood construction, and GREENGUARD Gold certification, manufactured by Storkcraft under its North American Graco license.
The under-crib drawer has two separate organizer compartments and pre-installed tracks, which is meant to simplify fitting the drawer during assembly. Four mattress height options include a newborn-specific setting, and the crib is tested through the Baby Safety Alliance program at an accredited lab, retested annually against current standards. It measures 54.8 inches wide, 29.88 inches deep, and 39.84 inches tall, and is backed by Storkcraft's one-year limited warranty.
- 5-in-1 conversion: crib to toddler bed, daybed, and full bed
- Full-size drawer with two organizer compartments
- GREENGUARD Gold certified
- Four mattress heights including a newborn setting
Who it's for
Parents in a smaller nursery who want extra under-crib storage without buying a separate dresser drawer unit. Less suited to anyone who wants the lightest possible crib or all conversion hardware included at purchase.
Pros and cons
- Full-size storage drawer with two compartments built in
- Dedicated newborn mattress height setting
- Retested annually at an accredited lab, not just at launch
- Backed by Storkcraft's one-year limited warranty
- Toddler guardrails and bed conversion kit sold separately
- Engineered wood rather than solid wood
- Mattress not included
Performance notes
The drawer's pre-installed tracks are meant to remove one of the fiddlier assembly steps that under-crib storage units usually add. The four mattress height settings, including the newborn position, cover the range from a fresh infant up through a toddler learning to climb, and the annual retesting cycle is a step beyond a one-time certification.
