Overview
Stepping into high school or college at bats, the Easton Alpha ALX gives hitters an Easton alloy barrel built with ringless FlyWall layers for a bigger sweet spot. A Power Boost Soft Knob adds leverage and dampens sting.
Barrel response and a forgiving sweet spot make it a confidence bat for hitters at the BBCOR level. The listing leaves out barrel diameter, so check league rules and fit first.
Who it's for
Varsity and college players who prefer the ping and feel of alloy will connect with it. Younger players in non BBCOR leagues need a different certification.
Pros and cons
- Ringless barrel enlarges sweet spot
- Soft knob reduces vibration
- Cushioned, tacky grip
- Loud ping on contact
- Barrel diameter not stated
- Construction type not specified
- Single length on this listing
Performance notes
Barrel response comes from the Easton alloy and FlyWall layering, which spreads the sweet spot without ring structures. The soft knob changes hand position for leverage and absorbs some vibration on mishits. Swing feel depends on the length to weight drop.
