Overview
Cordoba builds the Stage as a nylon string electric with a chambered mahogany body and a pickup system developed with Fishman. A Fusion neck and cutaway make it easier for steel-string and electric players to cross over.
The slim body and pickup aim at feedback-free stage volume with a nylon voice. Unplugged it is quieter than a full classical guitar.
Who it's for
Gigging players in bands, worship teams and studios needing nylon sound through a PA. Home classical students want a full-depth guitar.
Pros and cons
- Thin, comfortable body
- Fusion neck eases transition
- Recycled nylon gig bag
- Color row lists materials
- Nylon only, no steel option
Performance notes
A chambered body limits resonance that causes feedback, so volume through a PA stays controllable. The piezo plus body sensors blend string attack with body tone for a more natural plugged-in sound.
