Updated 20 days ago · Based on the Amazon listing and published specifications, not hands-on testing.
A flexible motion seat for parents who want a hands-free spot to set the baby down while they work nearby. It is not a sleep product, so a dozing baby has to move to a crib or bassinet.

Overview
MamaRoo moves in rhythms modeled on a parent's natural motions, with selectable motions, speeds and built-in sounds you can control through the companion app over Bluetooth. This bundle adds a reversible plush infant insert that cradles a newborn in the seat.
Choice of motion is the reason to buy: you can tailor each ride, and the Find Your Roo feature in the app suggests the combination closest to how you move. Smart home voice control exists but is still in Beta. The maker rules out sleep and unsupervised use, so it serves awake time only.
Who it's for
Suited to a busy parent who needs a safe spot to put the baby down while cooking or working in the same room. Families wanting an overnight or nap seat should look at a crib or bassinet instead.
Pros and cons
- Motions mimic parent rhythms
- App control and music over Bluetooth
- Seat fabric and insert machine washable
- Reversible insert adds newborn support
- Not for sleep or unsupervised use
- Voice control still in Beta
- Recommended age range not listed
- Bulky footprint for a small room
Performance notes
The ride is set by combining a motion pattern with a speed, and the app can recommend the pairing that most closely matches your own movement. Bluetooth carries app control and music, while Wi-Fi handles voice control through Alexa or Google Home. The plush insert changes the fit for a small baby without changing the motion.

Yes. The MamaRoo swing seat fabric and the plush infant insert are both machine washable.
