Overview
HeliCoil cam technology and a frictionless flight system drive the Ravin crossbow, a compact hunting crossbow built for blinds and treestands. Here it comes as a six item bundle with a molded hard case, padded sling, broadheads, a bipod and a cap.
Arrow speed in a compact frame is the case for this crossbow, since a short build swings easily inside a blind. The bundle adds a hard case and bipod that most hunters buy anyway. Optics, arrows and the cocking method are absent from the listing.
Who it's for
Hunters shooting from tight blinds or stands where a short crossbow is easier to swing. Buyers who want every spec on paper, from width to cocking system, will find this listing thin.
Pros and cons
- High arrow speed
- Compact frame for tight spaces
- Hard case for transport
- Padded sling for long walks
- Scope and arrows not listed
- Dimensions and weight not stated
- Cocking method not described
- Hat adds nothing to shooting
Performance notes
The HeliCoil system controls how the cables wrap the cams, which holds the bow compact while still delivering speed. A frictionless flight system means the arrow does not drag on a rail, which supports accuracy. The bipod steadies the shot when sighting in.
