Overview
A corded, 5 speed rotary motor clipper kit from Andis for professional dog and animal grooming, built for all coat types. Includes a detachable size 10 CeramicEdge blade, blade oil and a soft grip, anti slip housing.
The detachable blade system means blade sizes can be swapped as coat length changes, unlike clippers with a fixed guard comb. A rotary motor also gives more sustained cutting power than the pivot motors found on lighter home clippers.
- 14 inch power cord
- Max cutting length 2 inches
- Ceramic blade material
- Model 68520 (SMC)
Who it's for
Groomers and owners doing full body clips across coat types and breeds. Less suited to someone who only wants an occasional light touch up, given its professional grade power and 2 inch max cutting length.
Pros and cons
- 5 speed rotary motor
- Detachable blade system
- Includes blade and blade oil
- Soft grip, anti slip housing
- Corded only, which limits mobility
- No cordless or battery option
- Ships with only the size 10 blade included
Performance notes
The 5 speed rotary motor drives the included size 10 CeramicEdge blade to cut up to 2 inches, with the corded design giving continuous power instead of a battery that runs down mid session. The detachable blade lets other sizes be swapped in as needed.
