Overview
A small meeting room, a classroom or a home office gets camera, microphones and speaker in one Bose Professional VB-S video bar. Tabletop and wall mounting parts come in the box, and it works with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
One bar replaces a separate webcam, speakerphone and microphone array, and the beamforming mics aim at voices while cutting room noise. Zoom is digital only, so cropping in on a far seat lowers detail.
Who it's for
Suited to huddle rooms, home offices and classrooms running Teams, Zoom or Meet. Big boardrooms with seats far from the screen need optical zoom and more microphones.
Pros and cons
- Camera, mics and speaker in one bar
- Beamforming mics focus on voices
- Auto-framing follows the room
- Remote with saved camera presets
- Digital zoom only, no optical zoom
- Display mount kit sold separately
- Remote needs AAA batteries
- Field of view angle not listed
Performance notes
Voice pickup relies on the beamforming microphones steering toward talkers and suppressing noise from other directions. Framing is done digitally from the ultra HD sensor, so tight crops on distant people use fewer pixels and look softer.
