Overview
Clipping onto a monitor, laptop lid or tripod, the Dell webcam delivers QHD video through a Sony sensor over a USB-A cable. A noise reduction mic captures your voice, and the Dell Peripheral Manager app adjusts the image and features.
Certification for Teams and Zoom means it works as a plug in camera in the apps most offices use, with sharper detail than typical laptop cameras. A wired USB-A plug is the one connection on offer.
Who it's for
Remote workers and students who spend long days on video meetings. Streamers who need a wide room shot or an external mic chain may want a different setup.
Pros and cons
- QHD image from a Sony sensor
- Certified for Teams and Zoom
- Built in noise reduction mic
- Sliding privacy shutter
- USB-A plug only
- Zoom is digital, not optical
- Field of view figures conflict in listing
Performance notes
Image quality rests on the Sony sensor and HDR processing, which balance a bright window behind you with your face. Autofocus and face detection track the speaker as they move. The noise reduction mic lowers background hum, though a quiet room still sounds clearer.
