Overview
The SpiderWire SDB8G-150 is a braided fishing line spooled at 150 yards with an 8 pound test rating, in a moss green color. It ships as one spool.
Braided lines pack thinner diameter per pound of strength than monofilament, which is the main reason anglers move to them, and a moss green tint is meant to blend into vegetation and murky water rather than clear conditions. At 150 yards on an 8 pound spool, this is sized for a single reel spooling rather than bulk restocking.
- 150 yard spool
- 8 pound line rating
- Braided construction
- Moss green color
Who it's for
Anglers who want a low-visibility braid in a light 8 pound rating, suited to finesse or light tackle setups, fit this spool well. Anyone needing a heavier line class or a bulk spool for multiple reels will need a different size.
Pros and cons
- 150 yards is enough for a full reel spooling
- 8 pound test suits light and finesse tackle
- Moss green tint for low visibility in cover
- Single spool only, not sold in bulk multipacks
- Not rated for heavier line classes
Performance notes
Braided construction at 8 pound test gives a thinner line diameter than comparable monofilament, and the moss green color is intended to sit less visibly against weeds and stained water than a bright or clear line.
