Canon's compact color all-in-one is a sensible match for small offices that print, scan and copy in moderate volume. The document feeder scans one side at a time and paper capacity is modest for busy teams.

Overview
Canon built this imageCLASS color laser as a three in one machine that prints, scans and copies over Wi-Fi, Ethernet or USB. Pages feed from a main cassette, a single sheet tray and an automatic document feeder on top.
Small businesses get color printing, scanning and copying in one box, with mobile and Chromebook support. Two sided printing is automatic, but the feeder does not scan both sides in one pass. Starter toner yields are low, so replacements come sooner.
Who it's for
Home offices and small teams who need color documents plus a scanner and copier get all three in one machine. Busy workgroups with heavy duplex scanning should look at a larger multifunction unit.
Pros and cons
- Prints, scans and copies
- Automatic two sided printing
- Wi-Fi, Ethernet and USB
- Chromebook and mobile app support
- Document feeder scans one side at a time
- Small single paper cassette
- Starter toner yields are low
- Heavy for a desktop unit
Performance notes
Print speed matches in color and black, so mixed documents run at one pace. The simplex feeder governs scan speed for multipage originals, since double sided pages must be flipped by hand.
